Playing guitar in a pub on saturday, for amusement rather than money. This picture came out rather well, mostly as I was copying a photograph.
Music-wise I mostly play other people’s songs, particularly Leonard Cohen’s; but I have written one or two of my own, which usually go down well. My magnum opus (or at least the one that makes people laugh most) is possibly this song, which explores the deep sadness of a soul unable to find a competent plumber:
