Late Advent

Two days late, alas – not due to delays drawing, but not making the time to scan them. This week: a candle from the advent wreath; a bauble from the Christmas tree; some pine branches, put around the flat as decoration by the Significant Other.

Gel-pen scribbles

I used to do a lot of drawings with gel pens. I liked the scratchy, frenetic energy I got. I tried again recently and… most of what I drew was pretty bad. I’m probably too used to fineliners. The more presentable stuff:

Furniture

Two sketches of furniture. First, a pod chair for small persons. I discovered, to my woe, that small children like being spun around in such chairs. I say “to my woe” because this leads to repeated demands for being spun round, and wails when those demands are not obeyed. One must be very careful when one tries to entertain small children: success enslaves you.
